ZO Skin Health Complexion Clearing Programme

ZO Skin Health offers several kits which sell a collection of the products. I am not a fan of many of them as they are usually only travel size and sometimes the combinations are a little odd. But, there is one that really impresses me.

It's the ZO Skin Health Complexion Clearing Programme. This kit offers 4 full size products! It's the only kit that has all full size products and they are designed to help with blemish prone skin. Great for a starter kit for those with a bad complexion.

So what's in the kit?

1. ZO Exfoliating Cleanser

This cleanser is designed for oily skin and helps gently exfoliate the skin on a daily basis. The cleanser contains salicylic acid, niacinamide and jojoba esters. The salicylic acid is helpful for exfoliating and unclogging pores while decongesting the skin. The niacinamide helps reduce inflammation and help shrink pores. 2. ZO Complex Renewal Pads

ZO toners come as pre-moistened pads and are available in 2 strengths. The complex renewal pads are a gentler version of the pads. Toners are used to bring the skin's pH back to an acidic level so that it can continue to kill off bacteria. Cleansers can sometimes make the pH less acidic so a toner is needed to reset the skin's pH.

The pads also help remove extra dirt and help unclog pores using glycolic and salicylic acid. The pads help decrease surface oils and minimise breakouts. The pads also help ensure hydration, minimise irritation and fight free radicals with antioxidants. There are 60 pads in each tub.

3. ZO Exfoliating Polish

This must be one of my favourite products. ZO Exfoliating Polish gently exfoliates the skin using magnesium oxide crystals. The polish exfoliates and removes dead skin cells, this ensures that your creams aren't absorbed by the accumulating dead skin cells but can actually penetrate to the tissues where they are needed.

This polish is used by wetting the skin then using a small amount to fish the skin. The skin feels renewed and supple after just one use.

4. ZO Sulphur Masque

The last product is a great clay sulphur masque that sucks up impurities and helps prevent breakouts. The masque is blue and you do look a little like a surf while you have it on, but it really helps settle inflammation. It can be kept on overnight at a night time acne treatment on particularly troublesome areas. Here is another video to see how it is used, here is the link.

Value for money, this is a great starter kit for blemish prone skin. You could add ZO Daily Power Defence or ZO Acne Control for more severe breakouts and this would complete your simple but effective skincare regime.
